What is Tow/Haul Mode in a Chevy Silverado?

When activated, the Tow/Haul Mode in your Silverado adjusts the transmission’s shifting pattern to reduce shift cycling. When to Use Chevy’s Tow Mode

There is one instance where the Tow/Haul Mode should not be used: in icy or slippery road conditions. The increase in engine braking may lead to reduced traction, which can cause slipping. Only use Tow/Haul Mode if you are safely able to tow in decent road conditions.
